Gustavo provides another good opportunity to dispel a few prejudices. After all, being Brazilian has as much to do with samba and soccer as being German has to do with bratwurst and lederhosen. Gustavo has built his Sugarloaf Mountain version of the American dream, so to speak. He started his career as a marble polisher and woodworking product salesman, and (of course) sooner or later became a gifted IT consultant. How we love these resumes! Full of interesting edges and experiences narrated with a great attitude of perseverance, curiosity and a pinch of adventure. Gustavo just loves building things, walking in the park, playing video games and seeing fun things on the internet. And he dreams of having his own house in a few years. Again, that sounds pretty German to us. But in the end, that does seem to be Gustavo’s magic. It’s not about being Brazilian, American or German. It’s just…human.
