With a background in Fine Art and Design, Darryl got started on the Internet in the 90's working mostly for mobile network providers in South Africa. Darryl prides himself on being a problem solver.
Since moving to Berlin in 2010, he has focussed on modern technologies frameworks namely NodeJS, AngularJS, ReactJS and many more. He is no stranger to backend or frontend.
Projects of note include building an art auctioneering management system in Django, more recently porting a large legacy flash application to HTML5. In 2017, he worked on a NodeJS / AngularJS IOT monitoring interface used to manage people working in toxic environments.
Darryl joined the kreuzwerker engineering team in December 2017. When he is not wrangling code, he can be found making chef knives in a little workshop in Mitte.
