It’s a wrap. The first ever “virtual” Atlassian Remote Summit has concluded. Overall I found it a refreshing experience. I missed walking around the expo floor, casually bumping into in Mike, Scott or Jay; talking to fellow Atlassian Partners from all over the world and the personal exchange with the many interesting Atlassian personalities around - and yes, Bash, of course.
But being able to check in with the different product teams and sponsors was fun, and I had some insightful conversations. We mostly agreed that having a Pause / Rewind button is very beneficial, and doing booth duty in sweatpants on the couch at home is not too bad either. We’ll celebrate again next year at Summit 2021 in Las Vegas from April 20th to 22nd.
In the Day 2 keynote Anu Bharadwaj introduced Atlassian’s newest cloud offering: Cloud Enterprise. It will come with new features specifically tailored to the enterprise use of Atlassian Cloud such as Unlimited Users, Centralised User Billing, Release Tracks, Sandbox Access, Data Residency, Dedicated Support and financially backed SLAs with an uptime of 99.95%.
We are more than delighted to be part of Atlassian’s cloud journey and belong to the select circle of Enterprise Cloud Ready partners globally.
You can sign up for the EAP here. Or get in touch to learn more about your journey to Enterprise Cloud.
Cloud Premium now allows IP Allowlisting to limit access to certain IP ranges, Jira Cloud will include automation as a core feature and adds project archiving - among others. The overall experience of Jira notifications and Confluence search has been vastly improved as well.
The On-Premise DataCenter products will include newly added advanced permissions, will add accessibility controls, in-depth compliance reports, and last but not least, multilingual customer portals for Jira Service Desk.
If you want to follow up in detail, you can access most of the recordings of the keynotes and breakout sessions on demand.
